<p>Today (January 21) marks the 37th birth anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput. His tragic demise on June 14, 2020, was an irreparable loss for the film industry. Let us remember some of his memorable performances on this special occasion.&nbsp;</p>

This film holds one of the most reputed positions in Sushant Singh Rajput's filmography. His performance as the former Indian cricket team captain, MS Dhoni was at its realistic and intense best. Right from the cricket legend's look, mannerisms, and emotional turmoil, Sushant seamlessly delved deep into the character. Needless to say that the movie was a huge success at the box office too. 

Right from a young collegian who has fun with his pals, gets into a brawl with rival classmates, and has an innocent crush on his female classmate to a father whose world shakes up when his son tries to commit suicide due to academical pressure. Chhichhore was Sushant at the pinnacle of his versatility. From  transitioning between a young lad to a middle-aged man both in terms of physical appearance and performance was what Sushant nailed effortlessly. 

This film marked Sushant Singh Rajput's debut in the film industry and he swept everyone off their feet with his brilliant performance. Playing a cricket enthusiast who wishes to open a cricket coaching school for the budding cricketers amidst communal tensions and riots, Sushant played the role with the required innocence, vulnerability, and intensity. No wonder the movie paved the way for Sushant ceremoniously into films. 

Even though the film was not successful at the box office, Sushant commanded attention with his gritty and badass portrayal of the slick detective, Byomkesh Bakshy. The forlorn mannerisms and the raw and rustic physical appearance only added more nuance to his performance. 

Sushant Singh Rajput played a free-spirited and romantic man who falls for a bakery owner with whom he seems to have some sort of a connection. It is revealed that the duo is connected with their past life wherein Sushant was a warrior king. The actor's fiery appearance and the rogue action sequences especially in the past life sequences showed his hard work and determination towards the role. 

Sushant's last film which was posthumously released after his demise bought a bitter-sweet feeling in everyone's hearts. The actor played a happy-go-lucky Manny who is suffering from osteosarcoma but that does not deter him from living his life to the fullest. The ending had us bawling our eyes out and just remembering Sushant with a happy memory.
