Andor Episode 6 Review - A heist episode that will have you on the edge of your seat
    Updated : October 12, 2022 02:37 PM IST

The sixth episode titled "The Eye" directed by Susanna White sees Cassian Andor and the rest of the team finally infiltrate the imperial base, despite the team knowing Cassian's true motives there seems to be an understanding between thought and an uneasy one.

The fact that the last two chapters took time to explore the relationship between different team members and their motivations really paid off here as it helped raise the stakes and manages to make you root for them.

This has to be the best episode of the series so far thanks to some great performances from the cast and some excellent direction from Susanna White, this series is proof that you don't the Jedi or the Sith to make a great Star Wars show.

Special mention as to given to the visual effects especially towards the end of the episode when the rebels are attempting their escape and it more than holds its own with the recent sequel trilogy.

Diego Luna is once again excellent and manages that final line between a cutthroat mercenary and a man of honor.

The episode ends with The Empire going on full alert and Cassian going off on his own and not joining the Rebel Alliance but we do understand what Luthen Rael saw in Andor and why he put himself at risk to recruit him.

The series is getting better with every passing episode and I highly recommend you check this one out even if you aren't a Star Wars fan.

The first six episodes of Andor are currently streaming on Disney+, with new episodes every Wednesday.
