Moon Knight Episode 3 Review - Despite the slow pace the latest episode makes for a mostly interesting watch
    Updated : April 13, 2022 07:21 PM IST

The latest episode of Moon Knight takes place in Egpyt where we see Marc Spector on the hunt for Arthur Harrow and the tomb of the goddess Ammit. We see a lot more of Marc Spector and his motivations in this episode as well as seeing him and Steven Grant's personality learning to work together.

Desperate to stop Harrow as time is running out the moon god Khonsu seeks a meeting with the other gods of the Egyptian pantheon who have chosen not to interfere in human affairs.

But despite his pleas, the remaining gods do not accept that Ammit is returning and the episode ends with Khinshu being imprisoned in stone by his fellow gods.

The third episode does feel more slow-paced than the previous two, as the show explores the relationship between Layla El-Faouly and Marc Spector and their relationship. While we do get our best look at the Moon Knight in costume and his powers, the fight ultimately feels underwhelming.

There is also more humor in this episode especially during the fight sequences, as well as one, of the first big connections to the MCU , as we hear the city of Madripoor mentioned. The fictional city which was showcased in Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings.

The episode also has one of the most visually stunning moments in the MCU, when Khonshu with the help of Marc spins the night sky to move the stars.

With only three more episodes to go Moon Knight will hopefully pick up the pace in the fourth episode, which will stream on Disney+ on April 20.
