Ananya Panday’s Call Me Bae finally gets a release date; fans are super excited for her OTT debut!

A few months ago, the svelte and spunky actress Ananya Panday had announced that she will be soon taking the plunge into the world of OTT! And the resultant of the same was in the form of Call Me Bae! And, ever since the time, it was announced that Ananya Panday will be making her OTT debut with Call Me Bae, the fans just could not keep calm at all. Almost everyone was eager to know the release date of the show!

Well… the wait has just got over for everyone. Today, the stunning Ananya Panday took to social media and announced that the much-awaited show Call Me Bae will be available on Prime Video from September 6 onwards! For the unversed, while the Ananya Panday starrer Call Me Bae is an eight-part show, which has been created by Ishita Moitra and directed by Colin D’Cunha, it has been produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra. Besides Ananya Panday, the show also stars a host of actors including Vir Das, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Mini Mathur!

As per a report in Variety, it has been reported that, the crux of the Call Me Bae, which has been written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair, is that, it’s a story of a young lady named bae, who happens to get downsized from heiress to a hustler, thanks to a scandal, which rocks her life totally! It is this lesson that life teaches that, more over diamonds, it's being street smart which happens to be a prime necessity!
