    Check out Henry Cavill as he plays a super spy in the teaser for the upcoming action thriller Argylle

    The first look of Henry Cavill in Argylle, as well as a short teaser, has been released. The movie is directed by Mattew Vaughn known for Kingsman: Secret Service, and X-Men: First Class.

    Henry sports a new look for the movie, which is based on the 2002 novel of the same name written by Ellie Conway, the rights of which were bought by Apple for $200 million.

    In the movie, Henry Cavill plays a spy with amnesia who is tricked into believing he's a best-selling spy novelist but when his memories and skills return he comes on a quest for revenge against his former employers.

    The movie also boasts a huge ensemble cast that includes Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas, Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O'Hara, John Cena Samuel L. Jackson, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, and Rob Delaney.

    In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter director Matthew Vaughn had this to say about casting Henry Cavill in the movie 

    "I needed someone who was born to play Bond — which Henry is — and then nick him before Bond did. He plays a larger-than-life action hero with a wink. It's very different from Kingsman."

    Henry Cavill previously played a spy in the Man from Uncle (2015) as well as one in Mission Impossible: Fallout in which he starred opposite Tom Crusie and Simon Pegg.

    The screenplay for Argylle is written by Jason Fuchs known for his work on movies like Pan and Wonder Woman, while the movie has no specific release date we can expect the movie to stream on Apple TV+ in the latter half of 2022.
