In each season of Bigg Boss, we see contestants bonding with one another. While some become friends, a few others find love. There was even one time when we saw a special, rare connection blossom between season 13’s Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill. Well, this year on Bigg Boss OTT 2, two contestants who came pretty close to each other were television actors Falaq Naaz and Avinash Sachdev. The latter even confessed his feelings for Falaq on national television after her eviction from Salman Khan’s reality show this weekend.

In a chat with Instant Bollywood post her eviction, Falaq shared that she feels #Avinaaz is similar to Sidnaaz, which was a hashtag given to Sidharth and Shehnaaz’s jodi by millions of their fans on social media. The actress stated, “Main sach bataun, apni dil ki baat? Mujhe Sidnaaz se milta hua laga Avinaaz, kyunki yeh same hai yeh, Sidnaaz and Avinaaz! Jab ki humne andar as such love birds waala romance nahi kiya.” Well, this hasn’t gone down well with Sidnaaz fans, who believed Sidharth and Shehnaaz’s bond was above all else.

Many are now slamming Falaq for comparing #Avinaaz to Sidnaaz, which is an emotion for fans. For instance, one social media user wrote: “Shut up. Don't you dare to compare SidNaaz with these temporary bonds...SidNaaz was pure and divine...❤️”, whereas another comment read: “Challlll hatttt @falaqnaazz dnt u dare talk about being any close to the bond sidnaaz ...sau janam lekar bhi koi unke jaisa achha aur sachha nahi ho sakta ..#sidnaaz bond was the purest of allllllll times.” A third angry netizen wrote: “Bigboss 13 ke baad 14,15,16, ott 1 bhi chala Gaya but Aaj bhi sabko comparison Sidharth , Shehnaaz & Sidnaaz se hi karna hai ! Unke moments copy krenge or unse comparison karnege !”
