When the teaser and star cast of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first ever web series Heeramandi was launched, audiences knew they were in for a treat. May it be the grand sets, the convincing costumes, the concept or the casting coup that he pulled– these are all ingredients for an intriguing must watch. Well, much to our delight, the makers have now dropped the first track from the much awaited Netflix series. Titled Sakal Ban, this melody has been helmed by Raja Hasan with soulful lyrics written by Amir Khusro.

The music video, which will leave you wanting more, begins with Sharmin Segal entering the scene, looking aloof as she walks on. Aditi Rao Hydari then stops her and turns her to Manisha Koirala, who redefines royalty on-screen with her expressions and body language. As they sit down to enjoy a performance by the courtesans, who are all dressed in shades of yellow, Richa Chadha walks in. Watching her groove, Manisha is unable to stop herself and soon joins Richa on the floor for a mesmerizing performance. Richa and Manisha’s dance moves along with their sultry adaayein are to die for.
