‘Main le ke aa raha hun’: Salman Khan announces Bigg Boss OTT in new promo, reveals new destination; watch

Two years ago, filmmaker and chat show host Karan Johar added another feather to his hat when he announced the first ever season of Bigg Boss OTT. This reality show, which was launched on the digital platform, was like a prelude to Salman Khan’s beloved Bigg Boss. While Divya Agarwal bagged the trophy and title, KJo’s show qualified finalists Pratik Sehajpal, Nishant Bhat and Shamita Shetty to enter the Bigg Boss 15 house later that year. Well, this year Bigg Boss OTT is all set to return to our screens, but with a new host and on a new destination.

Since the last few weeks there was buzz that before making his much awaited comeback on the Bigg Boss 17 stage, Salman will host the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. But there was no confirmation. Much to the delight of fans, the first promo of Bigg Boss OTT has now gone viral on social media and it features the superstar! Salman looks handsome as ever in this viral clip, wearing a shiny silver jacket, as he announces, “Cricket ke baad kya dekhein, yeh hai dilemma. Entertainment hai 24 ghante only on Jio Cinema. Main lekar aa raha hun Bigg Boss OTT.” Hats off to Bhaijaan and his rhyming skills!

Some fans are obviously excited and are now flooding Twitter with questions about the list of celebrities who will participate in Bigg Boss OTT 2 as contestants. But some have their doubts after rapper MC Stan was announced as the winner of Bigg Boss 16, which was the last season of the reality show. This is because several netizens believed Shiv Thakare and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary were more deserving. In the comment section below, one social media user wrote: “fir se stan ka kisi part 2 ko jitaega.. bakwass show.” Meanwhile another troll commented: “I think after film setback coming to make money.”

Well, we can all agree that it is a delight to see Salman back as host. Like most other fans, we too can’t wait to see who participates in Bigg Boss OTT 2 this year. Any guesses?
