    The much-awaited trailer of Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta starrer Mast Mein Rehna Ka has finally dropped. For the first time, the two powerhouses of talent have united for Vijay Maurya’s heartwarming narrative of newfound companions. The trailer introduces Jackie as Kamath, a long-old widower whose life shakes up after a robbery. He meets neighbour Mrs Handa(Neena), a vibrant Punjabi lady, and follows her around. The unexpected connections and events leave them to rediscover themselves once again.

    Besides Jackie and Neena, the film also has Abhishek Chauhan, Monika Panwar, Rakhi Sawant and Faisal Malik in pivotal roles. The trailer also shows another connection between a robber and a dancer played by Abhishek and Monica respectively. Rakhi made her comeback on the small screen after a long time, which left fans surprised. Talking about his role, Jackie said, “When I read the script of ‘Mast Mein Rehne Ka’, I was fascinated by how unique the story was and I had an absolute gala time working on this film. While my character is that of a 75-year-old man grappling with loneliness, but there’s also a certain charm to him, which is charismatic. The character’s complexity of being vulnerable, strong and at the same time being resolute in his life, is something that makes him very relatable,” he said in a statement.

    Director Vijay believed that his film would give a unique perspective on self-exploration amid life’s intricacies and challenges. “The story revolves around diverse characters and entails a series of events that lead them to perceive life in a fresh light, accompanied by newfound companions in the vibrant city of Mumbai. In their quest to lead a life on their own terms, the obstacles experienced by these characters significantly influence their choices and carve the paths to their futures. I'm confident that this story will resonate with a multitude of people, not only within India but across the world,” Vijay said in a statement.

    Meanwhile, Mast Mein Rehne Ka, a slice-of-life drama will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from December 8.
