Sima Taparia meant THIS when she called Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas a ‘bad match’

Sima Taparia made her comeback with a bang in the second season of Indian Matchmaking. The matchmaker happened to hog the limelight for her unapologetic comment on power couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas in one of the episodes of the show. She raised several eyebrows when she declared the couple, ‘not a good match’. However, she recently clarified that she didn’t mean it and all she said was part of a casual discussion with her client Nadia.

In one of the episodes, Sima could be seen having a conversation with Nadia. And Sima used the couple Priyanka and Nick as a reference to make her understand why the relationship with Vishal is not feasible. “I don't feel it's a good match. Sorry to say that. They have married, but it's not a good match. He looks so small and petite in front of her, and she looks elder,” Sima was quoted as saying during her discussion with Nadia. Her statement instantly made headlines but grabbed no attention from the couple.

Well, in a recent interview, Sima seems to take back her statement as she was quoted saying that she said it casually. “That was just a casual discussion. I was discussing something with Nadia and I said that. Everyone’s entitled to do what they want, and if they're happy then I'm happy for them and wish them the best. It was just something I said casually, but everyone’s entitled to what they want to do and I wish good luck to them,” she told Hindustan Times.

Meanwhile, Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in November 2018 at the Umaid Palace in Jodhpur. The couple has never shied away about their age gap of 10 years, rather, have shattered stereotypes by embracing their age gap wholeheartedly. The couple has now embraced parenthood with the arrival of their first daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas via surrogacy.
