After Krushna Abhishek, Chandan Prabhakar confirms his exit from The Kapil Sharma Show

Comedian Chandan Prabhakar aka Chandu, Kapil Sharma’s best friend and co-star, has decided to bow out from the upcoming season of The Kapil Sharma Show.

After Krushna Abhishek, Chandan Prabhakar confirms his exit from The Kapil Sharma Show

Just last month, comedian Krushna Abhishek revealed that he will not be a part of the next season of The Kapil Sharma Show . Initially fans thought that like Sunil Grover, Krushna also had a fall out with Kapil. However, it was later clarified that the actor who played Sapna had a disagreement with producers of the comedy show over monetary issues. Before jetting off to Australia with Kapil for a tour, Krushna had even reassured his fans that he could return to TKSS as he believes it to be his show too. Well, Kapil has now lost another team member.

That’s right! When the trailer of the new season released, we were introduced to Kapil’s co-stars Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar and Kiku Sharda who would be returning as new characters this time. However, Chandu has now revealed that he will not be a part of the upcoming season of The Kapil Sharma Show . In a report shared by Pinkvilla, he was quoted saying, “Yes, I will not be a part of this season of The Kapil Sharma Show and there is no specific reason. I just wanted to take a break.”

Chandan was not even seen with Kapil, Krushna and the rest of their gang in Australia for the live tour. Well, this will come as a major shock to fans. But hopefully unlike Sunil’s exit, Chandan’s break from the show will be short and sweet. He is a delight to watch and is definitely a very important part of the team as well as the show.

While two members have bowed out from The Kapil Sharma Show, a few new characters have come on board. One of them is actress Srishty Rode, who will be seen as Ghazal aka mohalle ki raunak. Well, we can’t wait to watch The Kapil Sharma Show when it returns to television on 10th September.
