After Sridevi, daughter Janhvi Kapoor dances with Madhuri Dixit on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa stage; fans remember the late legend

Exactly a decade ago, history was made on the stage of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. It was an exciting year for the show which had choreographer Remo D'Souza, dancing queen and actress Madhuri Dixit along with filmmaker Karan Johar on the judges’ panel. Apart from the wonderful performances by the contestants, we got a chance to witness two legends together on the stage for the very first time-- Madhuri and late actress Sridevi , who had graced season 5 to promote her film English Vinglish.

It was an epic episode indeed! Well, some of the magic will be recreated this weekend when Sridevi’s actress daughter Janhvi Kapoor is welcomed to the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 stage. The episode will be her pit stop in the hectic promotional spree for her upcoming film Mili. Much to our delight, the latest promo shared by the channel has revealed that Madhuri will join Janhvi on stage, to shake a leg with her. The two will gracefully groove to Devdas track Kaahe Chhed, winning hearts with their moves and expressions.

In the teaser clip, Madhuri tell Janhvi, “Issi manch par maine aapki mummy ke saath dance kiya tha. Aur woh pehli baar hum dono ne ek saath mil kar dance kiya tha.” Well, this promo has left many netizens feeling emotional and nostalgic. Remembering the late legend, one fan wrote: “Sri Devi Ji Always Still Lives In Our Heart❤️😢”, whereas another commented: “Sri devi ji omg🥺🤍.” Meanwhile a third message in the comment section read: “That episode was epic😍, Bollywood two legends share the stage together first time.”

It truly was a wonderful moment when Sridevi and Madhuri danced together. Well, we are now looking forward to Janhvi and Madhuri’s performance. How excited are you?
