Bigg Boss 16: BB breaks 15 year long tradition with new rule; fans accuse makers of copying Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp

After a long wait, Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan returned to our screens with the much awaited 16th season of Bigg Boss last night. Fans were delighted to see him on stage again in his blingy avatar and were over the moon with joy to finally meet the contestants who will be competing in the reality show this year. Many have already picked their favorites! While Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia’s attitude has impressed netizens, Udaariyaan couple Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta’s real life chemistry left us wanting more.

Much to our delight, the makers have now dropped the first teaser of the season from inside the BB house! The video features contestants dancing their hearts out to wake up song ‘One Two Three Four Get on the Dance Floor’ from Chennai Express. This is a treat especially because in the previous seasons many celebs had stopped paying heed to the wake up song. Well, after they are done dancing, the housemates get a shocking news. Bigg Boss announces that this was the first as well as the last wake up song of season 16. This new rule breaks a 15 year long tradition of the reality show.

Instead of waking up to Bollywood music, the contestants will now have to recite the Bigg Boss Anthem. Well, fans have mixed feelings to this. In the comment section, one message read: “Flop ki pehla reason ye bhi hoga🤣😂😂😂😂”, while another said, “Yaa bigg Boss khel gye bhot bura khel gye maza hi aa gyav👏👏👏👏😂🔥🔥 ab aye gya maza 💖♥️.” But what’s interesting is that many others have accused Bigg Boss 16 makers of copying Kangana Ranaut ’s reality show Lock Upp , where the celebrity prisoners had to recite an anthem every day. A netizen pointed out: “Lockup show ki copy hai 😂 because they do anthem every morning”, whereas another teased, “Kisi aur ko copy Kiya re...copy Kiya re😂😂😂😂😂.” Meanwhile, a third netizen asked, “Copied from lockup?”
