Bigg Boss 16: Netizens slam Abdu for calling Fahmaan ‘samaan’; laud Sumbul for putting her foot down

Sumbul Touqeer Khan was quite confident when she entered the Bigg Boss 16 house as a contestant. But in the last few weeks, she became a mess. She was already confused about her friendship with Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta and her father’s phone call didn’t exactly help clear things up. But we saw a massive change in the Imlie actress when her former co-star and BFF Fahmaan Khan came to the reality show as a wild card. He later left because his entry was only a part of promotions for his next show.

Meeting Fahmaan not only made Sumbul happy, but also brought back her confidence which we saw in last night’s episode when she expressed her anger at Abdu Rozik . The singer was constantly referring to Fahmaan as ‘samaan’ in a derogatory way. She put her foot down and asked him to stop doing so. Abdu realized his mistake and stopped. However, netizens are extremely upset with his behavior. Many are now slamming him on social media while lauding Sumbul for taking a stand.

One angry netizen tweeted: “abdu literally insulted fahmaan by cracking a double meaning joke; but i don't see anybody calling him out for what he did ! even sumbul pointed it out. why this silence when it comes to abdu ? just because he is "CUTE" ?” Meanwhile another shared, “Abdu making double meaning jokes on fahmaan is not cool at all, He keeps grudges all the time and bad mouthing but no one points it out, Why?? We all witnessed that Abdu got jealous of Fahmaan because his crush Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Tina Datta called the Imlie actor ‘hot’. Nimrit even mentioned that she saw Fahmaan in a towel and felt he was way hotter than Shalin. Well, it’s good that Sumbul finally took a stand for someone who matters to her. It has truly made her as well as Fahmaan’s fans happy.
