Bigg Boss 16: Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is fired from captaincy, Shalin Bhanot to replace her as the new captain? See promo

The upcoming episode of Bigg Boss 16 is bringing in a lot of drama and twists right since the first week of its airing. The makers have now released a new promo that shows Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia being fired from the captain’s post in the house. For the unversed, the actress was made the captain of the house by Bigg Boss himself since she was the first contestant to enter the show.

Talking about the new promo, it shows Bigg Boss calling Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia via the telephone and saying that she has been fired from her captaincy. The Chhoti Sarrdarni actress looks visibly upset and Bigg Boss soon announces that he will give an opportunity to the other contestants to replace Nimrit as the new captain. He says that whoever rings a gong kept in the garden area first, will lock horns with Nimrit in a competition, thus having a chance to dethrone her from the captain’s post.

Hearing this, all the contestants race outside to ring the gong but Shalin Bhanot becomes the first contestant to ring the same. The promo then shows Shalin challenging Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia in a task that requires both of them to carry a basket on their heads. The basket is slowly being laden with some heavy items and it seems that whoever is able to carry the same for a longer time in their heads, will emerge as the winner and will become the captain. Now, it will be interesting to see whether Shalin Bhanot is able to replace Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia as the new captain or whether the latter remains as the captain. The same promo also showed Sumbul Touqeer Khan getting emotional. The Imlie actress breaks down into tears as she says that everyone thinks she is still a child and is very immature. Her co-contestants Sajid Khan and Gori Nagori can be seen consoling her.
