Good News! Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Pankhuri Awasthy and her husband Gautam Rode expecting their first child, drops adorable video

Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy will soon be embracing parenthood as they treated their fans with the good news. The couple announced their pregnancy on social media with an adorable animated video. “Our family is growing and as we embrace this new phase and prepare ourselves to dawn these new roles, we seek your blessings and best wishes !(sic),” read the caption.

The short clip begins with an animated picture of Gautam and Pankhuri when they first met, and then the following phases of life were shown with a clapperboard. From ‘JabWeMet’ and ‘Band Bajaa Baraat’ to ‘Good News’, they showed every scene of their life so far. Alongside, they also wrote, “ Our family is growing bigger, grand premiere 2023.” Soon after the video surfaced, their friends and well-wishers dropped congratulatory messages. Pregnant Gauahar Khan wrote, “Many many congratulations n blessings! God bless the family at every new step !” Ayaz Khan reacted, “Woww congratulations@rodegautam @pankhuri313. Soo happy for the great news, sic.” Among others, Sargun Mehta, Vivek Dahiya, Anita Hassanandani, and Maanvi Gagroo congratulated the couple.

Earlier in the day, Pankhuri dropped the teaser photo before making the announcement. She posted a photo of herself with Gautam in an Instagram story and wrote “Announcement coming soon.”For the unversed, Gautam and Pankhuri announced pregnancy after five years of their marriage. The couple tied the knot at Tijara Fort Palace in Alwar, Rajasthan in February 2018. The love blossomed between them on the set of Suryaputra Karn, in which Gautam played the role of Karna, and Pankhuri essayed Draupadi.

Meanwhile, besides them, TV actress Ishita Dutta and her husband Vatsal Sheth announced the pregnancy on Instagram earlier this month. The couple dropped a few silhouette pictures in which the couple is seen posing at the beach. Even Gauahar Khan and her husband Zaid Darbar are expecting their first child anytime soon as she is in her third trimester.
