Despite not being part of Shark Tank India 2, Ashneer Grover has been making headlines for various other reasons. Recently, the former BharatPe co-founder met Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor. The actress hosted him and his wife Madhuri at her residence and even clicked selfies with them. Ashneer took to Instagram and shared a bunch of photos from his meet with Shraddha with a caption that read, “Super fun time with @shraddhakapoor. What a super friendly and charming star !! Thanks for hosting us !”

Soon after his post surfaced, netizens spammed the comment section with hilarious reactions. One user wrote, “Ashneer will soon act in movies...Movie name Doglapan.” Another commented, “Finally ashneer sahab k chehre p smile dekhne ko Mili.” “Third Unicorn Brand Ambassador Revealed,” read another comment. Recently, the regulatory filing by BharatPe revealed the salary of its ex-founder Ashneer and ex-head of controls Madhuri. According to Moneycontrol, he earned Rs 1.69 crore in FY22 while his wife took a salary of Rs 63 lakh. For the unversed, the fintech startup sacked Ashneer and his wife last year in March for alleged financial irregularities. Days later, he had resigned from the company and its board. In December 2022, a criminal lawsuit was filed against him and his family seeking ₹ 88.67 crore in damages.

Meanwhile, Ashneer became a household name when he judged the first season of the business reality show Shark Tank India. However, he was replaced by CarDekho co-founder Amit Jain in its second season. On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen in Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar alongside Ranbir Kapoor. The film will be releasing in theatres on March 8.
