Naagin 7: Daisy Shah beats Priyanka, Sumbul and Nimrit to become Ekta Kapoor's new shape shifting serpent?

There have been a lot of speculations on who is the new shape-shifting serpent in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 7. The makers had shown a glimpse of a new Naagin who will replace Tejasswi Prakash. Since then, speculations have been rife about the new female lead of the show. While names like Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia were coming up for the show, we now hear that the new Naagin might be none other than Daisy Shah.

Yes, you heard that right! The actress recently wrapped up the shooting of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and will mark her debut in the TV non-fiction space with the reality show. Now, according to the latest development, Daisy Shah is also in talks with the makers of Naagin 7 to make her TV fiction debut with the supernatural drama. A source close to the development revealed to Etimes that the makers are in discussion with Daisy and the deal is expected to be locked soon. Both the actress and the makers are keen to give a green signal to the project. The source further said that the rest of the casting is also underway.

However, the Jai Ho actress has remained unavailable for comment on the development. In an earlier interview with the same publication, Daisy Shah had spoken about doing a reality show and making a foray into TV from movies. She had said that she does not wish to clarify anybody who are puzzled with this decision of hers. Daisy added that she always wanted to do Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 since it allowed her to push her boundaries and learn new things in the process. The actress had furthermore hinted that the show will also prepare her for a project that will kickstart by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, Daisy Shah has also been grabbing some eyeballs due to her closeness with Priyanka and Nimrit’s Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant Shiv Thakare. The two seem to have gotten close on the sets of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. It will be interesting to see whether Daisy indeed turns out to be the new Naagin.
