Pratik Sehajpal opens up about his bond with Karan Kundrra, reveals was disappointed with his journey video

Pratik Sehajpal has had a long journey in Bigg Boss , but despite not becoming the winner and finishing as the first runner-up, he has won several hearts and was called the real winner by many! However, him becoming the runner-up wasn't the only thing that fans disliked about the makers of Bigg Boss. They also did not like how Pratik's journey video highlighted only his relationship with the women inside the house. Now, he has also opened up about it.

During an interaction with ETimes, Pratik revealed that like his fans, he was also disheartened to see his journey video. He said, "I was actually disappointed with the journey video and I won’t lie about it. I went inside and I cried. Main genuinely ro raha tha because I felt I’d given so much to the show. I’ve shown all my emotions in my journey but they could find only this. I am not denying that these connections were not part of my journey. My friendship with Akasa and Devoleena. But I’ve given a lot of other things to the show. I’d in fact always visualised watching my journey video in the house with those fireworks and contestants getting emotional because they see all that they have gone through in the last 4 months in their journey, it was my dream. But when I saw my journey I was heartbroken and disappointed."

He also opened up on whether his bond with Karan Kundrra has changed post the show, because of their constant fights and said, "Honestly, when Karan and I were coming out of the house, we came to cordial terms because the show was coming to an end and he said he’s proud of me and we decided to end the rivalry. I’ve also seen him as a mentor and though he was my competitor on the show, I always had the competitive feeling. I’ve never held grudges against him. I saw him as a mentor and then a fellow contestant on the show. I also saw him facing a tough time when he was bashed on the show, and his good times also when he was praised. I feel that the house and the situations inside makes you behave in a certain way, koi insaan sach mein dil se bura nahi hota. I won’t say I was not angry, I was and we had some nasty fights but I’ll never hold any grudges against him. He was my mentor and I’ll always remember this."

Karan too, in an interview with ETimes had said that he’s proud of how far Pratik has come. He added, "Pratik and I have done two shows together, and he was one of my favourite contestants. We couldn't bond well on the show because we are both alphas, and we wanted to do our own thing. But whenever we needed each other, we were there. Deep down, I knew that he will never backstab me. Woh kuch galat karta tha toh I would get affected because he was like my younger brother. And when I saw him standing next to Teja, I was super proud. I am very proud of his game and his journey.”
