Riteish Deshmukh extends support to Abhishek Kumar after Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel target his mental health

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 17, Abhishek Kumar had a meltdown in the activity area during the nomination task. After being constantly targeted by Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel, Abhishek got emotional and confided in Munawar about his sensitivities around the term ‘mental.’ Amid this, not only the netizens, ex-contestants Aishwarya Sharma and Rajiv Adatia but Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh came out in support of the Udaariyan actor.

Taking to Twitter, Riteish wrote, “Heart goes out to Abhishek #BiggBoss17.” Even Aishwarya tweeted, “#ishamalviya #Chintu Are playing the dirtiest game ever. How much can they poke a person like this and yet nobody is saying anything about it.. only #AbhishekKumar is getting bashed for everything. This is such a ridiculous pattern of them .. #bigboss please take some action.” On the other hand, Rajiv wrote, “We love you bro!! Don’t worry! Your friends are there to support you! Be strong! You will get through this! Keep smiling! Know you worth!Know you are bigger and stronger than you think! This too shall pass..!” Take a look:

During the nomination task, when Arun Mashettey’s decision to withdraw his right to nominate fellow contestants stirred a fight between the contestants. Munawar accused him of favouring his boss Vicky Jain, while Isha also targeted Abhishek for being calculative. This turned into a full-blown argument where Isha called him ‘mental’ and taunted him about his father. Samarth too hurled insults at him that further provoked him by disclosing to Munawar the name of the doctor treating him for mental health issues. The revelation broke down Abhishek and Munawar tried to console him.

Earlier, Abhishek’s sister Pooja Tiwari expressed concerns about his condition on the show. “We cry when he cries. Our whole day gets upset when we see him crying. We feel in a way it’s okay because when he comes out of that house he will be much stronger than he is right now. He is getting to face the realities of life, and he will come out better than ever. The show (Bigg Boss) is helping him become stronger,” she told Times of India. Meanwhile, Abhishek along with Arun, Ayesha, Samarth, Munawar and Aoora are nominated for eviction this week.
