‘Shalin & Tina chose to insult me’: Bigg Boss 16’s Sumbul never wants to see her ex friends again; feels her father was hurt

For the final nomination task of season 16, Bigg Boss divided the contestants into two teams– Team Mandali consisting of Shiv Thakare, MC Stan and Sumbul Touqeer Khan versus Team Not Mandali which had Shalin Bhanot , Archana Gautam and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary in it. While the latter won thanks to Shalin’s performance, Team Mandali ended up in the nominations. Sumbul, her team and Bigg Boss blamed the Imlie star for this. Well, last night the young actress was evicted after she received the least number of votes.

In a chat with Pinkvilla post her eviction, Sumbul shared that she never wants to meet Shalin or Tina Datta again. She was quoted saying, “Whenever there is a fight and if some people are your friends, so they don't insult us in front of everyone. But they (Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta) directly chose to insult me. Not only did they hurt me, but Tina even insulted my father during an argument. Since then, I never liked her.” Sumbul explained that Tina had already seen how she reacted when Archana brought her father into an argument, so she feels the Uttaran star did it on purpose.

Sumbul further stated that she feels Shalin and Tina not only hurt her, but also her father. She shared, “My father had to hear a lot because of Tina, and that is the reason I would never want to meet them.” Sumbul concluded that she doesn’t care about the two. When Bigg Boss 16 had just begun, Sumbul became great friends with Shalin and Tina. But somewhere along the way things soured between them, soon after her father came on stage and schooled Tina and Shalin. Sumbul was also accused of being obsessed with Shalin by Tina as well as host Salman Khan. After breaking all ties with the two, Sumbul became a part of the mandali as she was close to Sajid Khan.
