Shark Tank India 2 fame Amit Jain reveals he takes money from his mom even now, says 'agli baar mangu toh mummy hisaab bhi...'

In the last episode of Shark Tank India, CarDekho co-founder Amit Jain revealed an unknown fact about his life that will surely leave you amazed. The businessman admitted that he still takes money from his mother whenever he needs to and even asked to give explanations about his expenditures. During the SharkXperience segment of the business reality show, he was asked if he follows a budget like ordinary people and maintains a diary for his expenses.

The CarDekho founder said his family follows the traditional value system where the head of the family takes care of the household needs. “It means I take money from my mom even now. When my grandfather was alive, I used to take money from him. If I ask for money the next time, mom asks for an explanation. So we didn’t break our value system. Respecting the elders of a family and running the house under supervision is a kind of value system for me. And I firmly believe in this value system.”

Amit is the new judge in the second season of Shark Tank India. He has replaced former BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover , who earlier gained popularity for his straightforward attitude and one-liners like ‘Ye Sab Doglapan’. The CarDekho co-founder is currently co-judging the show with Anupam Mittal(Shaadi.com co-founder), Namita Thapar( Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Aman Gupta (BoAt co-founder), Vineeta Singh (SUGAR cosmetics co-founder) and Peyush Bansal(Lenskart co-founder). During the previous episodes, he got into arguments with Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta over a deal. While Aman taunted him for asking too many questions, saying, “apko businesses samjh kaha ati hai.” On the other hand, Amit took a sly dig at Anupam saying, “If Anupam had any idea, he would not have done anything else in life.” Meanwhile, the netizens still miss Ashneer Grover’s charm in the ongoing Shark Tank India 2.
