'This is how nepotistic kids call everyone' : Shark Tank India fame Namita Thapar gets trolled for calling Ashneer Grover toxic

It is not a hidden fact that Shark Tank India 2 began on quite a dramatic note especially due to the exit of Ashneer Grover who was a judge in the previous season. Both Ashneer and the current panelists of Shark Tank India took some unmissable jibes at each other. One of them was Namita Thapar who had said in a throwback interview before the second season of the show started airing that the ‘toxicity’ will be out of the second season.

Despite not taking Ashneer’s name, it was clear that Namita was hinting toward her former Shark Tank India panelist. However, no sooner did the video go viral than fans started brutally trolling Thapar. Take a look at the video.

One of the fans took a dig at Namita for inheriting her father’s company and stated, “This is how nepotistic kids call everyone else.” Another user said, “Supporting entrepreneurs on the basis of their gender, indirectly asserting toxic feminism and receiving the wealth from heirs. Clearly, we can see who's the toxic one.” A netizen pointed out the ‘difference’ between Ashneer and Namita according to him. His comment read, “Difference between being born rich and becoming rich.” Another netizen added that he isn’t watching Shark Tank India 2 because Ashneer Grover is not there. The comment said, “I'm not watching the show because he's not there. Now it's the same as another daily soap show. Written content with no originality.”

Another user took a jibe at Shark Tank India 2 calling it the same as Indian Idol now. The comment said, “Toxicity out, Indian Idol in.” However, one netizen supported Namita Thapar’s statement and agreed that Ashneer Grover is indeed toxic. He stated, “No one thinking about the pitchers or entrepreneurs whom Ashneer insulted and demotivated them.....all just need entertainment and Masala......imagine being yourself as the pitcher and getting insulted by Ashneer ....you will get to know that.” Earlier, a Reddit user had also called Namita the ‘Ananya Panday’ of the business sphere since she has inherited her father’s company.
