TKSS: Kajol has no plans of turning director, Kapil jokes, 'Jo lady roz apne ghar mein roz Ajay Devgn ko direct karti ho ...'

Kajol and the cast of Salaam Venky is all set for a dose of laughter on the Kapil Sharma Show this weekend. The host and comedian has some hilarious moments for the fans to enjoy but a stand out moment perhaps is when he asks Kajol if she has plans to direct a film in the future like her husband Ajay Devgn.

Calling Ajay a brilliant actor and director, Kapil asks Kajol in a promo of the Kapil Sharma Show, “Aapka koi plan hai aage kuch direct karne ka?” The actress responded firmly to the question saying, “Bilkul bhi nahi.”

Kapil then joked about how the actress directs a star like Ajay Devgn around at home and doesn’t probably need to become a director. He made Kajol and the audience laugh out loud when he said, “Bilkul zaroorat bhi nahi hai. Jo lady apne ghar pe roz Ajay Devgn ko direct karti ho …”

Kajol also enjoyed various sketches on the show inspired from her famous characters. She was seen wiping off a tear while laugh hard on a skit present by the cast of the show based on the characters from her film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

The actress was joined on the show by director of Salaam Venky, Revathi, and co-star Vishal Jeethwa. Revathi and Kajol also promoted their film on Amitabh Bachchan’s quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 where she also enjoyed a question-and-answer session with some young fans. She also confessed on the show that she is still scared of Amitabh Bachchan who she has worked with in the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Salaam Venky is based on true mother-son story where the son Venky suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

The film is all set for release on December 9 and also stars Aahana Kumra, Rahul Bose, Prakash Jha, Rajeev Khandelwal and also has Bollywood star Aamir Khan making a cameo appearance.
