Uorfi Javed, who became social media sensation for her bold and out-of-the-box sartorial choices found her Instagram handle suspended on Sunday morning. The actress shared a screenshot of the suspension notice and also left a note for her haters. In the notice, Instagram stated that her account or activity on it, doesn’t adhere to their community guidelines and gave 180 days time to appeal their decision.
Following this, Uorfi wrote, “A lot of wishes were granted today I see," along with the Instagram notice. After getting her account recovered, she shared another screenshot in which a message from Instagram stated that her account was disabled "by mistake". She captioned it as, “I mean guys please decide.” For those unversed, an account on Instagram gets suspended if it is found sharing content that includes nudity, self harm, hate speech, among others. The suspension also occurs as an action upon users reporting a particular account after violation of certain Instagram community guidelines.
In the last post, Uorfi gave a sneak peek into her upcoming appearance on Rohan Joshi’s podcast MojoRojo. Earlier, she shared a mirror selfie in a blue bikini set and became the target of trolls. She also bared it all and wrapped a tape around her body to create a ‘10 seconds’ dress. Despite incessant trolling, the actress never ceased to experiment with her clothes. Not just social media bullying, but she has also found herself in legal trouble due to her fashion choices.
Uorfi shot to fame with her stint on Bigg Boss OTT, season 1. Prior to that, she has also been a part of shows like Puncch Beat Season 2, Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, Meri Durga and Bepannaah among others.
