Upasana Singh on exiting Comedy Nights With Kapil despite being paid well, says 'I left because I didn't feel satisfied'

    Actress Upasana Singh apart from having done several comedic roles in films and television had tasted phenomenal success during her stint at Comedy Nights With Kapil which is now renamed The Kapil Sharma Show. The actress essayed the role of Kapil’s Bua (Aunt) during the beginning of the show and had become a household name while doing so. However, soon the actress chose to leave the show, and recently she spoke about the same at length.

    Talking about the same with Bollywood Hungama , Upasana Singh said, “I told Kapil (Sharma) that I don't have much to do here, give me something like the role I did at the beginning of the show as I enjoyed that very much. Isme maza nahi aa raha hai (It's not fun anymore).” The Judwaa 2 actress furthermore added that she was being paid very well on the show but there was no job satisfaction after a point of time in the same.

    Adding on the same, Upasana Singh said, “That's why I left the show. Paise nahi, paise bahot acche de rahe the kyunki hamara show bahut hit tha (Not because of money, as they were giving me very good money since our show was a hit). But still, I left because I didn't feel satisfied. Kapil and I are very good friends, and we still keep in touch.” Well, it seems that the My Friend Ganesha actress had left Kapil Sharma’s show on an amiable note and the duo is still good pals.

    Meanwhile, Upasana Singh impressed the masses with her intense performance on the show Masoom which was released recently on Disney + Hotstar . The actress played a wheelchair-bound woman who shares a complicated relationship with her husband but shares a close bond with her daughter. The show also stars Boman Irani and Samara Tijori.
