‘Waiting for Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali to give me a call’: Bigg Boss 16’s Shalin Bhanot

During Bigg Boss 16 , one contestant who made headlines no matter what he did was television actor Shalin Bhanot . May it be his love and then hate for Tina Datta, his friendship with Sumbul Touqeer Khan or his undying obsession with chicken and all things protein! But no matter what he did inside Salman Khan’s reality show, Shalin always managed to win our hearts with his charming smile and innocence. Well, after his long and fruitful journey in Bigg Boss, the handsome hunk is now ready to return to our television screens with a supernatural thriller series.

Titled Bekaboo , the upcoming show follows the story of two star crossed lovers who belong to different worlds of fairies. Much to our delight, Shalin who was often trolled for being a ‘achha aadmi’ on the reality show will be seen in a grey character this time. While we are all excited to see him on this show, many fans want to know if he will be exploring movies too, like his BB housemate Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. Well, the answer is yes. In fact, Shalin is currently waiting for his door to knock with an exciting offer.

Talking about the same in a chat with Miss Malini, Shalin shared, “There are lots of plans to star in films and web-shows, I am waiting for my dream producers and directors like Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali to give me a call or give me a five-minute job in their movies. I would love to do that.” Now that’s quite interesting. We sure would love to see him shine on the big screen some day. At the moment, we are eagerly looking forward to his supernatural thriller series. Also starring Eisha Singh in the lead, Bekaboo is going to premiere on TV on 18th March.
