On the other hand, her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor took to social media and had the sweetest reaction for her grand achievement. Neetu Kapoor, on her part, took to social media (Instagram Stories to be precise), and posted the Met Gala 2024 look of Alia Bhatt. Not just that, she captioned the same saying, ‘Fabulous’.

As for Alia Bhatt, she took to social media today and shared a long post about the entire Met Gala experience. She started off the note stating that it was a call to the Garden of Time - an ode to art and eternity and that ‘timelessness is endless, and we acknowledge that things crafted with time and care, can last forever. In our journey for an Indian interpretation of this universal theme, the outfit took on a life of its own’.

She took a moment out to praise the creation of Sabyasachi, whose creation she was seen wearing at the Met Gala. Alia Bhatt wrote, ‘Nothing embodies tradition and innovation like the saree; in the skilled hands of @sabyasachi official, this vision found its fullest expression. We looked to the past as a guide for the future, drawing inspiration from the timeless sophistication of Indian nobility. We focused on intricate craftsmanship, incorporating hand embroidery, precious stones, along with elegant beadwork and fringes, distinctive of the 1920’s fringe style. Our colour palette pays homage to nature’s beauty, echoing the earth, sky, and sea’.

On the film front, Alia Bhatt will soon be seen in Jigra, which is being directed by Vasan Bala. Speaking about the film, Alia Bhatt had earlier described the film as a ‘beautiful story of courage, passion, and determination'. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Devang Raina in the leading roles. Besides acting in the film, Alia Bhatt is also producing it in collaboration with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and her home banner Eternal Sunshine Productions. Readers may recall that Jigra will mark her second outing as a producer, the first one being Darling, which was streamed on Netflix.
