Ajay to star in Fitoor?

Siddharth Roy Kapur’s Fitoor is all set to be romantic film starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. According to the latest reports, actor Ajay Devgn is also expected to join the star studded cast. Grapevine is abuzz that the actor would be seen in a cameo, but important role in the movie.

Fitoor, which is based on Charles Dickens's classic novel Great Expectations will also star Rekha and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles. A source close to the unit says, "Ajay responded with interest to Gattu's (as he is fondly called) narration and gave his verbal consent, but hasn't signed the film yet." 

 The film will go on floors in Mumbai later this month. Majority of Ajay's scenes will be shot with Aditya Roy Kapur. “Ajay's role is a cameo but a very important one, most of his scenes will be in the first half of the film," adds the source. Ajay will play a young Kashmiri lad named, Muazzam in the movie, which is to be directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Talking about his project, the filmmaker reveals, “Fitoor is a story of grand passion, beauty and love. The entire team is charged about what it promises to be. We’re inspired to go all-out and give it our best.”
