Preity Zinta's Ishkq in Paris finally releasing on May 24

Finally it’s the end of all troubles for Bollywood actress Preity Zinta's production ventureIshkq in Pariswhich has finally got a release date on May 24. Director Prem Raj's ill-health has been termed as the only reason of delay by actress Preity Zinta. She has also ensured that nothing else resulted in the postponement of the film’s release, which was originally scheduled to release in 2012.

Preity attended a press conference and made it clear at the venue, "Prem was very sick. He had to go for a surgery. I decided not to release the film without him. He is not just my director, but also a good friend.” She also added, "In life, sometimes you don't make commercial decisions, but make human decisions.” Talking on the financial losses from the delay, Preity said, "But I could afford it.” It was rumoured that film had no buyers till date. What would Preity say on that? "I will be producing again. I want to do bigger and better things. I hear these rumours from one ear and remove them from the other. I can only hit back by making sure that I do good work,” she reacted to the rumours.

The happiest part of the much-awaited film is that it will enjoy a solo release in the box-office on the scheduled day. Preity the producer, who is said to have big plans for the film’s promotion, said, "Every producer wants a solo release. You have to plan all this as a producer.” However Salman Khan, who has done a cameo appearance in a song in the film, is not sure to be involved in the promotional campaigns. The film also features Rhehan Malliek and Isabelle Adjani.
