Twist in the tale: Saif denies being offered Karan’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

While Karan Johar’s forthcoming directorial project had garnered enough buzz owing to its massive cast and theme, Saif Ali Khan has denied being approached by the filmmaker. The reports had earlier confirmed that the Hum Tum star would apparently play a prominent role in the movie.

Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai in the lead reportedly needed an inclusion and the director was quick to approach his friend actor Saif. However, when contacted Saif, he simply denied being offered the role and stated, "It’s not true at all. I haven’t even been asked to be part of the film." While the actor has starved of the shape up, the filmmaker has still not given any statement regarding this. May be keeping his options open, Karan will eventually approach him for the role. Let’s see if he can find a place on board.
