    The Academy award achiever Jacqueline Bisset is on board as female lead for an independent period drama entitled Peter and John, an adaptation of 1887 novel ‘Pierre et Jean’ by writer Guy de Maupassant. The actress is to essay the mother of two boys Peter and John of a French family.

    The film summarizes the tale of a sensitive and sober town doctor Peter, who has a brother John and a mother, played by Bisset. Their life takes a turn when he finds that his mother had an affair with a family friend. The flick, financed by Kingdom County Productions, features Gordon Clapp, Christian Coulson, Shane Kearns other than Bisset. Its supporting cast includes Gary Farmer, Bill Raymond, John Rothman and Susan Kelechi Watson. More developments on the same are yet to unveil. Jacqueline last worked in ‘Two Jacks’ as Diana.
