One thing fans can expect from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is pure entertainment! In their must-win clash against Delhi Capitals (DC), RCB won by 47 runs at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and even moved to the 5th spot. Their final league game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on May 18 and the results of the other games will determine if they can make it to the Playoffs.

In fact, this win and the jump from being in the 10th spot after a series of losses to now almost securing a Playoff spot has fans talking about the great comeback this team has made on X (formerly known as Twitter).

For DC, David Warner fell cheaply for 1 off 2, while Abishek Porel departed for 2 off 3. The dangerous Jake Fraser-McGurk, who looked in fine form, was run out at the non-striker's end for 21 off 8, while Kumar Kushagra was dismissed for 2 off 3.

Shai Hope was smashing the ball around but was soon stopped at 29 off 23, while Tristan Stubbs, another dangerous batter in the middle, was run out for 3 off 4. Amid all the wickets that fell, stand-in skipper Axar Patel was in fine form, as he smashed 57 off 39 before being dismissed by Yash Dayal.

Rasikh Dar Salam (10 off 12), Kuldeep Yadav (6 off 10), and Mukesh Kumar (3 off 7) could not contribute much towards the end as the Delhi team was all-out in the 19.1 overs.

For RCB, Yash Dayal picked up three wickets, while Lockie Ferguson picked two. Swapnil Singh, Mohammed Siraj and Cameron Green all picked one each.

DC had earlier won the toss and chosen to bowl. During the Powerplay, RCB lost both their captain, Faf du Plessis (6 off 7) and Virat Kohli (27 off 13). However, thanks to DC's poor fielding, Will Jacks (41 off 29) and Rajat Patidar (52 off 32) put up a vital combination.

But the Delhi team quickly turned the tide, getting rid of the set batters in quick succession. Cameron Green attempted to construct an innings with Mahipal Lomror (13 off 8), but the latter was unable to hang around for very long. Dinesh Karthik and Swapnil Singh fell for ducks, while towards the end Karn Sharma (6 off 4) and Siraj were run out.
