S Thaman who is composing the music for the movie announced the delightful news on his social media handle. He shared a picture of himself posing alongside the director of the movie Mohan Raja , Chiranjeevi, and Prabhudeva. The composer captioned the post stating, “Thaman wrote, Yayyyy !! Talking about Godfather, it is touted to be an engaging political flick and is the Telugu remake of the super hit Malayalam movie Lucifer. The film also stars Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana, Gangavva, and others in the lead roles. It has been bankrolled by Konidela Production Company .
In an earlier press meet during the IIFA awards, Salman Khan had spoken about working with Chiranjeevi in Godfather. The Hum Apke Hai Kon actor had said, “It has been a wonderful experience working with him. I have known Chiru Garu for the longest time. He has also been a friend. His son (Ram Charan) is also a friend. He has done such a fantastic job in RRR . I just wished him on his birthday, and on the success of his film. I am very proud of him. It feels so good that he is doing so well. But I wonder why our films are not doing so well in the south. Their films are doing so well here.”
