The title teaser, which was unveiled by the makers earlier, featured Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth who is making her Tamil acting debut with this Vijay Sethupathi-starrer. Director Aarumugakumar about Rukmini Vasanth’s character

Recently, the director revealed that actress Rukmini Vasanth, who is making her Tamil acting debut with Ace, will be essaying the role of a Malaysian-born Tamil who is said to be the ‘soul of the film’. The team is currently hoping that the Kannada actress will be able to dub for herself. “She knows how to speak Tamil. So we are going to do a voice test and see if she can do dubbing,” the director said.

On the other hand, many reports earlier speculated that the upcoming film would be based on gambling since the title teaser hinted at such a possibility. However, director Aarumugakumar has now come forward to quash the rumours and stated that although gambling is part of the film, the movie is not entirely based on the game. Vijay Sethupathi’s character is said to be that of a mysterious person, whose identity is going to be important for the plotline. The makers also revealed that KGF-fame Kannada actor BS Avinash will also be part of the upcoming crime comedy.
