Alia Bhatt grooves to Chaiyya Chaiyya with husband Ranbir Kapoor post wedding; shakes a leg with Karan Johar on Radha

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor ’s wedding was undoubtedly one of the most talked about events in Tinsel Town this month. From their Sabyasachi outfits to their unexpected choice of location-- everything made headlines as fans eagerly waited for the couple to officially confirm that they are tying the knot. Well, on the evening of 14th April Alia took to her official Instagram account to share the news with breathtaking photographs from their wedding. Later, the newlyweds even stepped out for the paparazzi who had been stationed outside their Bandra home since the last few days.

Well, post their traditional Punjabi ceremony and a short celebration with wedding cake and what looked like champagne, Alia and Ranbir hosted an after party. While Alia kept it simple but looked radiant as always in a red suit with minimal jewelry, Ranbir looked dapper in a matching Nehru jacket and white kurta pajama. An unseen video of the newlyweds dancing to Shah Rukh Khan ’s Chaiyya Chaiyya has now taken the internet by storm, along with a clip featuring Karan Johar and Alia grooving to Radha, from latter’s debut film Student of the Year.

In her wedding announcement post, Alia revealed that she and Ranbir tied the knot at their favorite spot in latter’s Bandra apartment, where they spent the last five years of their relationship-- the balcony. Well, if buzz is to be believed, the couple will soon jet off for a short honeymoon to South Africa before returning to work. While Alia will resume the shooting of KJo’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani , Ranbir will take his next film Animal on floors with co-star Rashmika Mandanna .
