'Allu Arjun ka swag match karna mushkil..': Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada trailer release leaves fans divided

The trailer of the much-anticipated Shehzada starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon is out for the audience to react to. The film is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun starrer Telugu movie titled Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which was released in 2020. Kartik stepped into the shoes of the Telugu superstar in the upcoming movie, hence the comparison was inevitable. As soon as the trailer dropped, some netizens gushed over Kartik’s action avatar and comic timing while others drew comparisons between him and Allu.

Talking about the trailer, the three-minute-long video shows Kartik making a smashing entry with an action sequence. He is seen playing a free-spirited lad who can fight the world for the sake of his family. But then he gets to know for the family he is fighting is not his actual family, instead, he is the son of a billionaire. Actually, the makers seem to have taken the same plot as Allu’s movie but with a different cast and made a few changes.

Reacting to the trailer, one of the social media users wrote, “Copy paste movie”. The second person commented, “#Shehzada Movie is another remake of Allu Arjun movie #AlaVaikunthapurramuloo Bollywood don't get any original stuff these days or they just don't want to brainstorm?” One of the users wrote, “#Shehzada Trailer is Good. But Allu Arjun ka swag match karna mushkil hai. Full remake hai starting to end! Let's see it works at box-office or not!” “#KartikAryan looks good but don’t know how he will show himself as Allu Arjun or better than him..Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo cannot be replicated by any other actor,” added another.
