Amitabh Bachchan steps out to celebrate his birthday with fans, receives heartwarming welcome; watch

Amitabh Bachchan is regarded as Bollywood's deity. He has accomplished a lot in his career, and his story is pretty inspiring. On Wednesday (October 11), the legend turned 81 and had a private birthday party with his family members at his home. Like every year, thousands of his fans gathered outside his house in Jalsa to extend warm wishes. Big B startled his admirers by coming out of his house to greet them and thank them for their well wishes. He was dressed traditionally, with flowers all around him. He stood on a platform and waved to his admirers; the audience erupted when they saw him.

The paparazzi filmed the occasion in which fans can be seen shouting happy birthday to him, with some of them struggling to record him. In the backdrop, popular songs by the actor were also playing. As the video went viral, many people expressed their best wishes online.

Famous Bollywood stars such as Anupam Kher, Ajay Devgan, Vicky Kaushal, and Sanjay Dutt all extended their wishes to the living icon. Famous South-Indian actor and former Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism of India, addressing the icon as Guru Ji, also took to social media to express his heartfelt greetings to the legend. He went on and wrote- “This Birthday of yours is also very special for me, because I am looking forward to meeting you, my idol,virtually tonight on your legendary KBC show!! 😊”

Later, Big B's granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, posted images of his birthday celebration on Instagram with the caption Happy Birthday Nana with red heart emojis. Big B is pictured with his wife Jaya Bachchan and his grandchildren Navya, Aaradhya, and Agastya Nanda. They are all seen hugging the superstar. Shweta Nanda, Amitabh's daughter, also wished her father on Instagram. She released a photo collage of the father-daughter duo smiling and hugging. She captioned the photo with a sweet message which says-“Happy 81st Papa💓 Big shoes ( and hugs ) no one can ever manage to fill 🤗”

In addition, Amitabh Bachchan will appear in Ganpath, directed by Vikas Bahl and starring Kriti Sannon and Tiger Shroff. He will also appear in the South film 'Kalki 2898 AD,' alongside Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. Amitabh Bachchan also has a significant role in 'Thalaivar 170'.
