    Apart from playing an action hero and a gynecologist, actor Ayushmann Khurrana has also been roped in to play a vampire in an upcoming film.

    In his 10 year long career as a Bollywood actor, the talented Ayushmann Khurrana has proven his versatility several times with his incredible performances. May it be a sperm donor in his debut film Vicky Donor, a man with erectile dysfunction in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, a blind pianist in Andhadhun or a bodybuilder in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui-- he has breathed life into many memorable characters. Well, up next, Ayushmann is all set to play the role of a vampire in his first ever horror comedy!

    A report shared by Peeping Moon has revealed that his next film will be a project in Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe, for which he will reunite with Bala director Amar Kaushik. A source was quoted saying, “Ayushmann and Amar Kaushik have been exploring various subjects for their second collaboration, and after toying with a couple of ideas over months, they have finally zeroed in on this very exciting project. It’s a horror-comedy film and expands Vijan’s proposed cinematic universe around them. Ayushmann will play the role of a vampire in this VFX-heavy film.”

    This will be the next installment in the popular horror-comedy universe after Stree, Roohi and the upcoming Bhediya also directed by Kaushik, which features Varun Dhawan as a werewolf. Apart from this horror comedy, Ayushmann currently has two other exciting projects in the pipeline-- Anirudh Iyer’s An Action Hero co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat, and Doctor G alongside Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah. The social comedy will see him as a gynecologist. Well, we can’t wait to see the actor as a vampire soon!
