Yoga guru, Baba Ramdev reignited the Bollywood drugs controversy with public speech, the clip of which is now going viral on social media. He named the biggest of Bollywood stars in his speech including Salman Khan , Aamir Khan and even mentioned Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan ’s recent arrest in a drug bust.

His speech urging the Arya Samaj to fight against drug abuse comes at a time when the alleged drug menace in Bollywood has been a highly debated subject in which names of several big stars have cropped up. Baba Ramdev went so far as to claim that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan abuses drugs while he also cast apprehension on actresses and actor Aamir Khan.

The yoga guru was speaking at the Aryaveer and Veerangana conference in Moradabad on Saturday where he made these allegations against Bollywood. He said, “Salman Khan takes drugs, I do not know about Aamir Khan. Shah Rukh Khan's child was caught while taking drugs and remained in jail. As far as actresses are concerned, God alone knows about them."

Exactly one year ago, Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son Aryan Khan had to serve a month in jail as the Narcotics Control Bureau detained him aboard a cruise ship as a suspect during a raid. He was acquitted by court after the agency failed to sufficiently prove their claim against Aryan who was held in judicial custody despite no drugs being recovered from his possession.

Several other stars like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Arjun Rampal, Rhea Chakraborty were also questioned in separate investigations prior to Aryan’s arrest.

Baba Ramdev’s claim now targets Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in particular while no drug cases have been registered against the actor prior to his speech.
