Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will have its official Blu-ray release next month which will contain director Sam Raimi's commentary, a gag reel, and deleted footage.

Currently, the movie is available for digital purchase which also contains the director and the crew's audio commentary.

The appearance of John Krasinski making an appearance as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic is one of the most talked-about cameos in the movie.

MCU fans have been asking for the studio to cast the actor in the role for a long time and it finally came to fruition.

In the audio commentary director, Sam Raimi revealed that now that the MCU has alternate realities it was easy for them to give the fans what they wanted and introduce Reed Richards.

Now, this doesn't confirm the fact that the actor will be reprising the role in the future but the positive reaction from audiences won't rule out the possibility as well.

Sam Raimi had this to say about John Krasinski's MCU debut

"It’s so funny that Kevin [Feige] cast John [Krasinski] because the fans had a dream of who the perfect Reed Richards would be. And because this is an alternate universe, I think Kevin said, ‘Let’s make that dream come true.’ I’ve always really enjoyed all of his performances.’”

Screenwriter Michael Waldron who is a big fan of The Fantastic Four said that it was an honor to write the cameo

"Reed Richards is my favorite Marvel Comics character, so it was a real honor to get to write his first entry in the MCU. John’s such an amazing performer and such a great partner in bringing this role to life for the first time.”

As for what the future holds for Reed Richards and The Fantastic four remains to be seen, there have been a few live-action adaptions like the 2005 Fantastic Four movie and its sequel.

And also the 2015 reboot which was a commercial and critical failure.

Hopefully, fans will be able to see Marvel's first family in the MCU.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is currently the highest-grossing movie of 2022 with a worldwide gross of 945 million dollars.

The movie is currently streaming on Disney +
