Does Kriti Sanon's Blue Butterfly production house have a connection with Sushant Singh Rajput? Netizens feel so

Actress Kriti Sanon has stepped one more ladder of success with the launch of her own production house, Blue Butterfly Films. She co-owns it with her sister Nupur Sanon. As soon as she announced the launch of her production house, a section of netizens wondered if the name of her new venture is an ode to the late actor and rumoured ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput.

Taking to Instagram, the Heropanti actress shared the logo of her production company. Alongside, she penned a long note that read, “And it’s time to shift the gears. I’ve been in this magical industry living my dreams for 9years. I’ve taken baby steps, learnt, evolved & grown into the actor I am today! I absolutely lovvvee every bit and aspect of film-making. And now, its time to do more, to be more, to learn more, to tell more stories that touch my heart and hopefully yours too. Here’s to constantly evolving and finding the most beautiful version of yourself. Beyond excited to finallyyyy start BLUE BUTTERFLY FILMS with a full heart and big dreams!! 🦋♥️@nupursanon.”

Soon after her post surfaced, a netizen commented, “Kriti's new production house name: blue butterfly films. Sushant used alot of butterfly in his posts and comments. Kriti has a butterfly in her bio. Not sure if it's something they both shared with each other but this seems deliberate on her part to remember him. Back when his unfortunate news came, people were really harsh on her for not immediately responding to the news and keeping quiet. But over the years we can see through she has honoured Sushant in the most beautiful way without making it about her or being a attention seeker.” Another netizen added, “I always felt Kriti's affection for Sushant was always genuine. Don't want to go into the details of their break up and all the stories that floated around after his death but I wish he remained with Kriti.”

For the unversed, Kriti worked with Sushant in the 2017 film, Raabta. In 2020, Sushant, 34, was found dead, hanging from the ceiling fan at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. Meanwhile, workwise, Kriti was last seen in Om Raut’s Adipurush alongside Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Sigh. She will next feature in Ganapath, an untitled project with Shahid Kapoor and The Crew.
