    Shah Rukh Khan made his comeback, after a hiatus of five years, with Pathaan in 2023. The superstar took the box office by storm with his stardom and delivered one of the biggest grossers of the year. He didn;t stop there, he joined forces with South director Atlee to deliver another blockbuster which shattered records, and emerged to be one of the biggest openers until Prabhas’ Salaar came into the picture. And the superstar’s latest release Dunki also fared well at the box office. Now, the fans are eager to know what the superstar plans to do next, and here we have an exciting update on the same.

    In the latest interview with Raya Abirached, SRK dropped a hint about his next project. He said that he would take up a role that is more close to his real age. He mentioned that he would start shooting for the film in March or April next year. “I think I will start one in March-April now. Like I have been attempting now to do a film which is more age real to me and play it still as the protagonist and the star of the film,” he said.

    There are rumours doing rounds that SRK might star in a film with his daughter Suhana Khan soon. For the unversed, Suhana recently made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, and is yet to announce her next.

    Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki was released on December 21, 2023 and opened to decent earnings of Rs 29.2 crore as per industry tracker Sacnilk. On Friday, the film registered Rs 20 crore collection, taking the total domestic collection to Rs 50 crore. The film marks SRK’s first collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani. Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, the film also has Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover in pivotal roles.
