    Vikrant Massey

Vikrant Massey is one of the most versatile performers in the Hindi film industry today. But his journey to success began from television in 2007. He won our hearts with his performance in daily soaps such as Balika Vadhu, Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo and Qubool Hai before making a smooth transition to the silver screen with Lootera. 5 years ago, in an interview, Vikrant had stated that he would not like to take up daily soaps any time soon. He had explained that the creative satisfaction a film gives to an actor is more. Well, Vikrant has now revealed that he is open to doing TV shows again. But he has a condition!

In an exclusive chat with Desimartini, the actor shared that he would consider returning to daily soaps if he was offered a good project. However, his only condition is that the project and the theme should not be regressive. If the concept of the daily soap being offered to him is progressive, he would strongly consider going ahead with it. Well, we definitely respect Vikrant’s ethics and principles. In fact, it is quite inspiring to see an actor who keeps his morals above all else. Maybe this is what makes him such a star every time he shines on screen– he gives the character all he has because he truly believes in it.

Currently Vikrant is busy on a promotional spree for his next Bollywood film, 12th Fail. This drama, which has been helmed by ace filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, is based on the real life success story of IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma. Vikrant will be seen in the lead along with Medha Shankar, Sanjay Bishnoi and Harish Khanna. The film is all set to arrive in theatres on 27th October. Apart from 12th Fail, Vikrant also has Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba with Taapsee Pannu and Sunny Kaushal in his envious line up.
