'Gaadi se nikalne mey bhi struggle': Sonam Kapoor gets stuck at airport due to heavy rain, netizens react

Sonam Kapoor, who returned to the screen after a long break with Blind, was spotted at Mumbai airport on Thursday. Due to heavy rain, the actress was stuck in the car and it took her time for her to step out to pose for the paparazzi. She was seen wearing a red-coloured maxi dress and matching long jacket. As the video went online, netizens left sarcastic remarks mocking her ‘struggle’ in getting out of the car in heavy rain.

Sharing the video, the paparazzo Viral Bhayani wrote, “Sonam got stuck in the rain 🌧️😞Itni ziyada baarish ki Sonam Kapoor had a hard time coming out of her car, yet she looks absolutely fine in her red outfit today!!” Reacting to the clip, one of the users wrote, “Baarish me helicopter ki trah land krne me struggle krna pd rha hai,” The second user wrote, “gaadi se nikalne mey bhi struggle, super d#mbo aunty.” “It's only raining...u can come out sonaam aunty 😂 I wish aisa oscar winning expressions ap film mein bhi dete to aj oscar jeet leti,” stated another user. Earlier, Sonam touched down in Mumbai after watching Wimbledon Finals 2023 with husband Anand Ahuja in London. A day after reaching, she shared a picture on her Instagram story in which she seemed to be on the sets of a shoot. She was seated in front of the mirror, getting ready to face the camera. In the caption, she admitted that she was missing her husband Anand Ahuja and their son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.

Meanwhile, Sonam recently made her comeback with Shome Makhija’s crime thriller, Blind. Besides her, the film also features Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey. Released on July 7, 2023 on JioCinema, the film received mixed reviews. DesiMartini’s review of the film reads, “Badla fame director Shome Makhija had earlier credited a blockbuster in his name when he re-developed the 2016 Spanish film The Invisible Guest starring Amitabh and Taapsee. But the same cannot be said about his latest venture Blind, which is a remake of a 2011 Korean film of the same name. The half-baked script and shoddy loopholes make this crime thriller too far from an edge-of-seat experience. However, the lead character Sonam Kapoor takes the cake for her performance as a cop, who carries the burden of her tragic past after she turns blind.”
