Variety reports that the German distribution rights were grabbed by SquareOne Entertainment in the run-up to the Cannes virtual film market. The movie's worldwide sales are being managed by Mister Smith Entertainment, with negotiations in other territories still underway.

    Directed by Jeffrey Darling, this intriguing project marks his feature debut. Based on an astonishing true story, "He Went That Way" unfolds in 1964, narrating the story of a serial killer on a spree, a down-on-his-luck animal handler, and Zippy - a TV chimpanzee.
