IIFA 2023 press conference: Salman Khan plays with Karan Johar's jacket; Varun Dhawan & Badshah indulge in bromance

The International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) is all set to raise the curtain for its 23rd edition in Abu Dhabi next year. The pre-inauguration event was held on Tuesday (November 29) and was attended by Salman Khan , Karan Johar , Varun Dhawan , Farah Khan, Farhan Akhtar, and others in Mumbai. Several pictures and videos from the starry event have surfaced on the internet. In one of the videos, Salman Khan is seen playing with the threads hanging from Karan Johar’s jacket. While in another video, Varun Dhawan and Badshah howled together in ‘Bhediya’ style.

For the event, Karan Johar arrived in his usual flamboyant style wearing a funky blue-black jacket paired with black pants. On the other hand, Salman opted for a grey formal suit. In the video, Salman can be arriving toward Karan and looking at the threads hanging from his jacket. He starts playing with it while poking fun at him. Karan then gets conscious and starts laughing together with Salman. On the other hand, Varun and Badshah could be seen interacting with fans in the video. The two are making a howling sound like wolves in an attempt to promote Varun’s recently released Bhediya. Check the videos here:

IIFA 2023 will be held in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi next year on February 10 and 11. Karan and Farah will be hosting together at an event, while Farhan Akhtar and Abhishek Bachchan will also turning hosts. Apart from it, Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan are set to entertain viewers with their power-packed stage performances. While Badshah and Sunidhi Chauhan among other music artists are geared up to mesmerize fans with their melodies.

On the film front, Salman Khan will be seen in Tiger 3 and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. While Varun Dhawan has Bawaal alongside Janhvi Kapoor. On the other hand, filmmaker Karan Johar is geared up for the release of his next directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
