Kriti Sanon clears air on dating Adipurush co-star Prabhas, explains why Varun Dhawan started their relationship rumour

Of late, Kriti Sanon and south sensation Prabhas were rumoured to be in a relationship. The speculations started ahead of the trailer release of their upcoming movie Adipurursh. A source had revealed that the two have strong feelings for one another. Later, Kriti’s Bhediya co-star Varun Dhawan also made rumor mill churn faster when he hinted at the duo’s affair at Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 2 sets. Following this, the report of their expected engagement date began to surface. But finally, Kriti burst the bubble before any wedding date could have circulated.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Kriti dropped the truth bomb. She penned a note in which she called her relationship rumour with Prabhas baseless. "Its neither Pyaar, no PR... our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some howl-arious rumours. Before some portal announces my wedding date- let me burst your bubble. The rumours are baseless!" she wrote and concluded the note with a 'Fake news' GIF. Take a look:

Earlier, a video from Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10 became viral in which Varun indirectly confirmed that the two are dating. During the grand finale episode of the show, Varun stated that Kriti's name is in someone’s heart. He went on to add that the ‘someone’ he is talking about is currently busy shooting with Deepika Padukone. For those unaware, Prabhas and Deepika are currently filming Project K in Hyderabad. Well, dating rumors often begin when two actors are working together. Well, Kriti has broken several hearts of the fans who had started shipping for her and the South superstar.

Meanwhile, workwise, Kriti recently entertained her audience with the horror-comedy Bhediya which has received positive reviews.
