Meanwhile, the film failed to show any growth during the weekends. Jayeshbhai Jordaar had earned Rs 4.45 crore at the box office on its third day. The total collections had stood at Rs 11.70 crore. The reports further stated that the Ranveer Singh starrer had a 17.64 percent occupancy on Sunday (May 15).

It is very unlikely that the Ranveer Singh starrer will have any room for bouncing back now. Jayeshbhai Jordaar will be facing very tough competition from Kartik Aaryan ’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Kangana Ranaut starrer Dhaakad, both of which are movies with a higher buzz and promotional strategies than Ranveer Singh’s film. It will be interesting to witness if the film still happens to show any sign of growth in the coming days.

Talking about Jayeshbhai Jordaar, the movie also stars Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani , and Ratna Pathak Shah in the lead roles. The film revolves around the ill effects of female foeticide and the oppression of women. The movie has been produced by Yash Raj Films . It has been directed by debut filmmaker Divyang Thakkar . Ranveer Singh essays the role of the main protagonist who goes on a quest to protect his wife and unborn child from the clutches of his patriarchal family.
