    Kangana Ranaut ’s rant against Karan Johar’s recently released Brahmastra continued. The actress has now reacted to claims of the movie’s box office numbers being manipulated. Taking to her Instagram stories, she re-posted a tweet that alleged Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt film’s business figures are over 60-70 percent fake. Laughing away the information, alongside she wrote, “Wow, that's a new low… 70 percent” and added laugh emojis. Take a look:

    The tweet shared by Manikarnika actress was of filmmaker-writer Eray Mridula Cather that read, “So, few trade analysts are not giving #Brahmastra BO figures, as they’re completely manipulated. The ones who’re going gaga with fake BO figures are heftily paid. This manipulation is possibly India’s biggest so far, over 60-70percent fake figures. It’s not just ego, it’s coke-ego!” Reacting to it on her Instagram Stories, Kangana wrote, "Wow, that's a new low… 70 percent."

    Well, we wonder if Kangana is misinformed as reliable trade analyst Taran Adarsh has recently shared the latest box office figures of Brahmastra. He wrote, “Brahmāstra is SENSATIONAL at the #BO... *#Hindi* version... *#Nett* BOC...Day 1: ₹ 31.5 cr - ₹ 32.5 crDay 2: ₹ 37.5 cr - ₹ 38.5 crFinal total could be higher... #India biz.National chains are seeing extraordinary numbers...Day 1: ₹ 17.08 cr est Day 2: ₹ 20.67 cr est.”

    Earlier, on the day of the Brahmastra release, Kangana penned down a long note claiming that Rs. 600 crores spent on the making of the film have gone down the drain. She also alleged that the makers are trying to exploit religious sentiments by changing the lead character’s name from Jalaluddin Rumi to Shiva. She mentioned Karan and accused him of manipulating numbers and buying reviews.

    Meanwhile, directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra has so far grossed more than Rs 80-90 crores nett. Co-produced by Karan’s Dharma Productions and Star Studios, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. On the other hand, Kangana is working on her directorial Emergency in which she stars as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
